Pick-up and return take place at Horner Landstraße 2 in 22111 Hamburg.

Vehicle handovers Monday to Saturday from 14:00-17:00, Returns Monday to Saturday mornings from 9:00-11:00.

Both renter and driver must be in possession of a driver's license class III or class B, or a corresponding national/international driver's license for at least one year - for vehicles over 3.5 tons at least 3 years. A presentation of the driver's license and the valid identity card/passport by the renter and/or the drivers at the takeover is a prerequisite for the handover of the camper.

The minimum age of the renter and each driver is 21 years. For vehicles over 3.5 tons, the minimum age is 25 years. Both the renter and the driver must have held a Class III or Class B driver's license for at least one year - at least 3 years for vehicles over 3.5 tons - or an equivalent national/international driver's license.

Trips abroad within Europe are possible. Trips to non-European countries require the prior consent of the lessor. Trips to war and crisis areas are prohibited.

At the conclusion of the rental contract 1/3 of the total rental price is due immediately. The balance is due 2 weeks before departure at the latest.

The deposit of € 1,000 must be paid by the renter to the rental company free of charge at the latest when taking over the vehicle.
The deposit will be refunded upon proper return of the vehicle and after final settlement of the rental contract by the Lessor. Any fee in addition to the rental price paid in advance by the Lessee will be offset against the deposit upon return of the vehicle.

The minimum rental period during the high season and the low season is 7 days, during the low season 5 days.

Smoking in the rental vehicles is generally not permitted.

The final cleaning is 95,00 €. If the vehicle is returned cleaned, we will refund the cleaning costs.
The cleaning of the chemical toilet and the service water tank (if they are not empty when you return the vehicle) is 150,00 €.

In Norway, most toll roads are equipped with an AutoPASS system that automatically debits your tolls. This has the advantage for you that you can pass the toll stations without stopping.

If you drive through a toll station without an AutoPASS chip, your license plate number will be recorded. From time to time, this is indicated by a light signal. At some toll stations, payment is still manual; here you must stop and pay. These toll stations are marked by the sign "Manual"

There are 2 options:

1. A registration via your own credit card, (see instructions below) without any additional fee charge
2. Without registration Nordic Caravan will receive a payment request from the toll company after your stay in Norway. The forwarding of the invoice to your address , fee for payment monitoring and formalities are 85,- €.

At the first passage of a toll road in Norway 300 NOK (1000 NOK for vehicles over 3.5t) will be deducted from the credit card. The remaining credit will be credited to the credit card account no later than 85 days after the end of the contract.

Since it is a rental vehicle, the registration can be done only 1 day before departure!
